Meet our Governing Board

Our school is led by a group of volunteers who are passionate about learning and experienced in the strategies that we promote.

Barbara Lundberg

Barbara Lundberg has a long career in interior design, graphic design, and advertising. She earned her BA in Interior Design at Utah State University, with a minor in graphic design. Barbara has a great interest in education and considers herself a life-long learner, which is a skill she strives to instill in her children. She pursues all things creative including art, photography, design, music, and even fitness.

Barbara has donated her professional expertise in design and marketing to the school through her service as Chair of the Public Relations and Marketing Committee. Barbara has been passionate about CCID's mission and vision from the school's beginning, and her children have attended from its opening. From the start Barbara has been a regular volunteer in many capacities at the school, chairing and founding committees on the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Barbara has served as the PTO President. She continues to assist the PTO when possible, though her focus has shifted more to her responsibilities on the governing board.

Kyle Glass

Kyle Glass is the owner of Leg Up Agency. A PR/Marketing Agency that he founded after 15 years of working in the consumer tech industry. His marketing experience focuses primarily in B2B custom installation consumer electronics, where he has worked with companies such as Sony, Bose and Samsung and many more over his career. However, he also has experience working with businesses including, law, not-for-profits, forensic accounting and even shoes.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations in 2005, as well as graduate studies in the same field, until 2008 at Ball State University in Indiana. Kyle is also a wartime Army veteran, having served in Bosnia and Herzegovina during ‘Operation Enduring Freedom’, and supported deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in the early 2000’s. After six years of service, he departed the military as a sergeant (E-5) in pursuit of education and professional opportunities.

He transplanted in the Logan area in 2020 and believes that the opportunities provided in STEM-focused education, and particularly CCID, will be leg up for his son, a student at CCID, and our community.

Peter Gerdes

Peter believes in CCID's mission. As a proud CCID parent, he brings the following three W's to help support its mission as a Governing Board member:
Work- Peter received his B.A. in history, B.A.A. in secondary social studies education, and J.D. in law. He transitioned from the practice of law to the business of law in the legal tech industry.
Wisdom- Peter is excited to share his wisdom, especially from his experience in the local community, serving on the Advancement Advisory Board at the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (NEHMA) at Utah State University.
Wealth- He believes board members should contribute what they can.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Peter is involved in activities and causes related to the arts, and enjoys volunteering at CCID in other capacities.

Julie Lamarra

Julie Lamarra is a Professional Practice Associate Professor in the Outdoor Product Design and Development program at Utah State University. She holds a BA in the Arts (2007), a Master of Arts in Teaching (2009), and a PhD in Career and Technical Education (2021). Her professional background includes work in graphic design, brand strategy consulting, teaching, and academic research. She closely collaborates with organizations such as Patagonia, Lifetime, Outdoor Research, The North Face, and NASA technology transfer programs. Julie has been an educator since 2009 and currently serves on the Faculty Senate as a member of the Faculty Development and Educational Leadership Committee at Utah State University.

Julie serves on the CCID School Board because she believes in education that is student-centered, hands-on, and connected to real-world experiences. She values the CCID's integrative STEM approach and its emphasis on curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration. As a board member, she is committed to supporting a positive school culture, strong community partnerships, and the long-term success of CCID's mission and vision.

Kira Robinson

Kira Robinson holds a master’s degree in social work and currently works as a therapist in private practice. Kira has a strong social-justice background and passion for creating meaningful change—especially when it comes to the future of children at CCID. Kira strives to bring diverse perspectives, lived experiences, and unique strengths into her interactions with students, staff, and the broader community. Her commitment to equity, innovation, and student well-being drives her dedication to volunteering and supporting all learners at CCID, ensuring they have opportunities to grow and thrive in every facet of their education.

As a proud CCID parent who has witnessed the confidence and growth her own child has gained through the school, Kira is dedicated to being a positive, engaged, and collaborative partner in supporting the CCID community.
