Emily Daines
6th to 8th Grade History & ELA
Emily grew up in Cache Valley, enjoying both outdoor activities and amazing teachers and schools. After graduating from Utah State in Social Studies Teaching, she moved to New York City for two and a half years and had all sorts of adventures and opportunities. She returned to Logan and USU to get in a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as Second Language (ESL). While completing her degree, she taught at a local high school and then relocated to Draper, Utah to teach middle school history, and other subjects. After several years, she decided to move back to Logan, get a dog, and join the CCID team. She is thrilled to be able to incorporate her love of the outdoors and social studies, and help all students to learn to love the same! While not at school, Emily enjoys traveling, watching sports, reading, hanging out with her cats and dog, and being the best aunt to her nephews.
