Personalized Learning Plans

PLP's

Every student is unique, and their education should be too. 

Each CCID student develops a Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) that helps guide their academic growth, personal development, and interests.

Students work with teachers to set meaningful goals in three key areas:

• Academic Goals (reading, writing, and mathematics)
• Service Goals (contributing to their school or community)
• Personal Interest Goals (exploring passions and hobbies)

Our Personalized Learning Plans allow students to connect learning to what matters most to them. For example, a student who loves baseball might learn mathematical concepts through player statistics, practice writing through sports journalism, or explore science through the physics of the game.

In grades 1–5, students participate in clubs where they collaborate with peers, set goals, and work together on projects connected to their interests. As students grow older, they take greater ownership of their learning through increasingly independent projects and personalized experiences.
