I have spent most of my life living in Cache Valley. I was born in Northern Idaho and lived just outside Glacier National Park in Montana when I was young. I still miss the trees and bald eagles, not so much the bitterly cold winters.

I have been working in elementary schools for the past 15 years. I have been at CCID since the very first year. I have worked as the Aide in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I am thoroughly enjoying my new role working with kids from multiple grades.

I am curious and creative and love to craft, especially using odds and ends or leftovers and upcycling them. I enjoy reading aloud to kids.  I love stickers and enjoy sharing them. I also have started to collect quotes. I find great joy in sharing positive, encouraging or funny words with people, especially when they need it. I live by these two mantras "See a need, Fill a need" and "Do your little bit of good where you are. It's those little bits of good put together that change the world."

I find great fulfillment working with children, helping them to learn and grow. It is so exciting when they make connections and their world expands.
