Sarah McNamara
Special Education aide
I am excited to be part of the CCID Special Education team again this year! I’ve been married to my husband for over 25 years, and we have one daughter, who is attending Southern Utah University. We also have a rescue dog named Mazie. I have been actively involved in the education field for over 25 years, including curriculum development and teaching people of all ages and abilities. I believe that every child has the potential to be successful and through hard work can accomplish anything.
I also teach adult and children art classes through the Cache Valley Center for the Arts as well as art classes for seniors that are funded by a Creative Aging grant through the Utah Division of Arts & Museums. I hold a Bachelor’s from San Francisco State University and a Master’s from the University of San Francisco. In my free time, I’m actively involved in the community and volunteer with nonprofits, especially those that serve our veterans and seniors. I also enjoy the outdoors, playing board games, and watching movies with my family.
